2012 : A new beginning, begin with resolution

Assalamualaikum

it's 2012
the 12th year since the Y2K..

welcome to the new beginning..
new year sure does bring a new hope ..
and let us pray that is does bring new hopes and success

Resolution

it is a goal for the year for us to achieve
reason?
to have a purpose of having life

a new year resolution is just a chunk of our life goal
the real purpose is to have a really large goal chunk into
smaller pieces thus easier for us to achieve it..

what is my new year resolution?
honestly I doesn't have 1 yet.

and I believe its never too late to have 1..

planning is very important in our life
but planning without something to achieve is useless
I've tried that before
and I'm tired with all the trial and error that I've
done in my life
there should be a fullstop in something so that we can move on in
our life..

my advice to readers
have a goal then have a plan, and run the plan..

if you are force to follow someone else goal
better say no to it..
because do what is important to you and only you

I guess that's all for now
not really in a mood to write
just forcing myself while filling up my 2012 resolutions

Nafsu

Dinukilkan oleh Maulana Jalaluddin al-Rumi tentang kisah seorang penangkap ular. Di satu musim sejuk, penangkap ular itu memanjat gunung untuk mencari buruannya. Beliau terjumpa dengan banyak ular yang seperti mati dek cuaca yang sejuk. Ular-ular yang berhibernasi itu ditangkap dengan mudah, dimasukkan ke karung dan dibawa turun ke pasar.

Penangkap ular itu mahu menunjukkan kepada orang ramai kepakaran dirinya menangkap pelbagai jenis ular.

Semasa tiba di pasar, tatkala mentari yang bersinar dengan sedikit kepanasan haba yang datang, ular-ular yang tadinya beku seakan mati, hidup, liar dan bertempiaran lari meninggalkan penangkap ular dan menimbulkan ketakutan setiap mereka yang berada di situ.

“Demikianlah nafsu kita. Dengan didikan, ia menjadi jinak, lumpuh, malah membeku. Seperti ular itu tadi. Tetapi nantikan nafsu itu terkena sedikit tempias keenakan dosa dan nikmat dunia, bisa sahaja ia menjadi seperti ular berkenaan” nasihat Maulana Jalaluddin al-Rumi.
